Linda DiGusta

Linda DiGusta is a New York City artist and writer. This spring her work is included in 2 group exhibitions in NY - 
"Black Madonna" at HP Garcia Gallery and the Hudson Guild's 'Appetizing Pictures: Unusual Still Lifes of Food and Kitchen Objects' - James Furlong, curator, and in the last year her works have been seen in 'Farewell Shoes for Mt. Bush' (collaboration with Mark Wiener) at DECORAZON gallery in Dallas, 'Winter Salon: Works on Paper' at Bjorn Ressle Gallery, 'Walk-In's Welcome' presented by Curcio Projects at Umbrella Arts, at the Red Dot Art Fair with Art Gotham and in the 'Ides of March' bi-annual exhibition at ABC No Rio on the Lower East Side by invitation of the collective, Broadthinking, and featured in the spring issue of Irreversible Magazine. A print series is also on view at the NY Design Center. 

In November 2007, two of her  works on paper were included in 'Lineal Investigations,' a group exhibition at the Housatonic Museum of Art, curated by Robbin Zella, and are now in the collection of the Museum. Her assemblages and drawings have also been seen in group exhibitions at Art Gotham, Hudson Guild, FrontRoom, as well as other galleries in Chelsea and Brooklyn, and she collaborated with Iliyan Ivanov and Mark Wiener on a digital video, SandSketches, which was presented at a group exhibition at midtown's CURB Artspace in 2007. 

Linda has had several short stories published in print and online. Integrating art and writing, she also writes for and serves as Executive Editor of Resolve40 (http://www.resolve40.com), an online publication created by artists in 2005 to present the art world from a fresh point of view.
