Dennis Hart Dennis Hart’s current work investigates the suburban landscape, and how humankind has altered it, emphasizing what Americans do not typically pay attention to. He says, “I look at things around me to notice how the human element, even in 2009, has either worked with the natural landscape, or completely against it.” Using highways, and road structures as his subject, he raises questions about our impact on the natural landscape, and the way we design our environments. Dennis Hart is a painter who lives and works in Methuen Massachusetts.
He received his BFA in Painting and Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art, and is currently enrolled in the MFA in Visual Arts program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. |
